Yep. I helped design it :)
Did you know the NSA's the only intelligence group without a charter that limits certain actions that are generally viewed as criminal within international courts? Such as specific kinds of assassination.
People always go nuts over the FBI and CIA, but the NSA's a much scarier group for anyone in the know. Though since 9/11 some other odd black bag groups have garnered much more power.

We should start with Robert Gates. After all, it was Gates that destroyed and politicized the CIA during the Reagan administration and was caught lying to Congress over Iran-Contra.

You should not raise your expectations too high. That Obama appointed Gates to his administration is just one more indication that despite the "iinspirational messages", the Obama administration is just the same "business as usual".
