Referring to comments by Sen. Jim DeMint, R-S.C., Friday that "If we're able to stop Obama on this, it will be his Waterloo. It will break him," the president responded: "This isn't about me. This isn't about politics. This is about a health care system that's breaking American families, breaking American businesses and breaking American economy, and we can't afford the politics of delay and defeat when it comes to health care."
The president also notched up his criticism against insurance companies, saying that "the current system works better for drug companies and insurance companies than for the American people

I have a health plan. I work, support my family, I am responsible for my family. I do not want this Gov,mt. to spend TRILLIONS of dollars for ILLEGAL ALIENS, PEOPLE that are irresposible, that insurance is not their priority. Illegals are killing our normal healthcare system. when a person goes to the EM 2000 times in a year, something is wrong. when over 50% of new borns in San Diego are ILLEGAL, something is wrong! The gov. runs medicade, medicare, SS, and their broke!!! And now you want them to screw up the best healthcare in the world? what a jerk.

--Obama makes a distinction that few on the right seem to grasp when it comes to criticizing the President. Wanting an *agenda* to fail is one thing. Wanting the *man* to fail is something entirely different. I think it's disgraceful that Republicans in Congress aren't ashamed to declare that they not only want Obama's agenda to fail but they want him to *look* like a failure even more. Very well put. I am not hearing any proposals or any positivity from the GOP. They have been in the most ****y 5th grade mood since the election. It's just not healthy and God forbid some aspect of Obama's health plan becomes a part of their medical care whehn they enter the hospital for stress attacks. It might break their recovery.

We already have health care we can't afford and it doesn't cover a lot of people. Argue like a man for a change and not for some illusion that you are saying we have but we don't. Its like saying because we ban drugs there are none so the only way people will get drugs is if liberals win. The reality is you should admit that the most expensive health care system per capita is in the US and it is delivering worse care than most other systems and every time a republican quotes Obama's cost they should flash below what the current system costs us especially in ER visits when a kid could have been treated with a bottle of antibiotics instead of a hospital stay an month later. Do you change the oil in your car? I do because it is better to pay a little up front than wait til the engine seizes. Same deal with health care. Prevent now or pay later big bucks for the ER visit.

Tort reform will have very little effect on health care costs.
Malpractice costs are less than 2% of health care costs, and increases in malpractice insurance are more a function of insurance company investment returns than malpractice settlements.

They want to sign The Cap and Trade Tax Bill which will cost almost every person in the USA thousands of dollars in job loss, higher gas prices and home heating costs, even though India and China flat out refuse to participate at all.
Once again Obama and liberal cronies are saying "the sky is falling". Now it's about Socialized Health Care. We "had to pass" that Multi-Trillion Dollar Stimulus Package in such a hurry during their last panic campaign that no one could even read the details or unemployment would rise to 8% according to Obama. Now it's hitting 10%, will go to 13% and higher still.
The government can't manage anything. Look at Amtrak. Over 36 Billion Dollars spent and it has yet to turn a profit. Plus it costs taxpayers a fortune to ride on it too.
Social Security will be bankrupt by 2013. What is the Fed doing about that? How can we pay for all that, the Health Care White Elephant and the Trillions this government already spent on a failed stimulus package?
How much and how many times can we tax the same people to achieve these liberal agendas while the tax base gets smaller and smaller? Where will the tax dollars come from to pay for everything? Unless the Feds print new money. Can you say "High inflation"? Wake up people!!!-

So how about the military while we are at it. How much did invading Iraq cost and where the F is the profit. Invade to steal the oil and manage to not get the only reason we went but pay for Obama's healthcare plan twice over to accomplish absolutely nothing, And the pricetag is before counting the immeasurable cost in dead and crippled vets. If anyone of you think the "Unemployment" rate stopping or not dropping? That's NOT al all true! Look at Iowa or California! Or anywhere! Unemployment is still falling fast and furious! What they are trying to do and it seems to be working ON some of YOU! Is use the fact that 10's of 1000's of peoples unemployment BENIFITS have run out! So they are not counted! So by them not filing unemployment anymore, Obama thinks he can confuse you into believing that Unemployment has slowed down! Luckily, I look for facts to back up his comments! Ask any emergency room doctor, nurse, intern or whatever, they are required by law to treat anyone, period.

I'll give help to the stranded.
I'll give financial support to needy.
But what I won't do is forget I'm an American or give comfort to enemy.

I am an American and think of my own self interests and that means if I am going to pay taxes for other peoples health care I want the money spent efficiantly so we either stop treating anyone without ID in the ER or we solve the problem before they get to the ER for less but we need to make a decision because the current system isn't working. -
