Many users like to use Windows OS (most used) and there are also people using MAC OSX(Apple MAC) as their preferable Operating System.And not just that many of us use devices such as hand helds ,Pocket PC,Mobile which might act as a cross platform devices.So if you are a MAC user and with a windows mobile device or any other mobile with different OS there might be some compatibility issues connecting/syncing the device with your Desktop PC.
