Israel has had nukes since the 60s. Why is it okay for Israel to have nuclear weapons and be the 3rd most armed country on Earth but it's not okay for any country in the Middle East to want to counteract Israel's war machine with nuclear weapons of their own? Both sides having nuclear weapons would be the best deterrent. Or is it that Israel just wants to be the only nuclear power in the Middle East so it can frighten all the Muslim countries into submission? Israelis are war mad; they worship Mars/Ares. So are Americans, but with over 4330 dead Americans now, our love of war is beginning to cool down. Maybe when Israel loses a few--cooler heads will prevail. They should stop making threats; they just might have to back them up eventually. And Iran is not unarmed, incarcerated Gaza.

The fact is that Israel has had a nuclear program since the 1950's. It is the most technologically advanced country in the region. Iran, even if it should get a nuclear weapon would have to be insane to use it on Israel. The retaliation from Israel would be unthinkable for Iran. Israel is not just a nuclear power, it is a thermonuclear power. Hydrogen megaton bombs are considerably more lethal than the crude kiloton bombs that Iran could produce. Even the Imams in Iran know that a strike against Israel would mean total annihilation of their country in retaliation by Israel. I just can't see Iran as a threat to Israel even if they get a nuclear weapon. However, giving it to a radical Islamic group would be a different story.

Hundreds of even thousands devouted Muslims happily killed themselves in order to kill others for the glory of Allah, Edmar. Many more thousands are willing to do the same while shouting "Death to Israel!", "Death to America", "Death to Britain!', etc. If you're willing to call them 'insane' so be it, of course, but putting labels on the mass murder culture of Jihad will not change the horrible truth about it.
Today the leaders of Iran are busily preparing their people to the war of annihilation against Israel. When they'll have a bomb their people will demand these leaders to make truth of promises.
