Americans are beginning to sour on his economic policies. A USA Today/Gallup poll last week said that by 49 percent to 47 percent, those surveyed disapprove of how he is handling the economy, a turnaround from his 55 percent to 42 percent approval in May.

The poll said the biggest drop came from conservative and moderate Democrats.

Fifty-nine percent said his proposals called for too much government spending, the poll found.

Looks to rebound? He's been crashing and burning a lot longer than that. This Gates affair was a good example. Without knowing the whole story, he assumes the cops are bad and Professor Gates is right. Gates clearly had an agenda. What that was will eventually be figured out. I suspect he's looking to pedal another race bating book on evil whitey or how the white male even now keeps him down. A Harvard professor and he's still pushing race as the only factor to judge a person on. When will all sides finally stop.

As to health care, I'm sooooo tired of hearing how this is the fault of the GOP. He's got enough Dems in the House and Senate so why aren't they passing his death care plan? Could it be people actually printed all 1018 pages of what was passes and they realized it's a scam? Could it be the "End of Life" program for seniors isn't what they wanted? Soylent Green anyone?

We're in a huge recession that Obama's team is pushing into a great depression. The American people are not the left wing cattle many in the DNC think they are. They did fall for the bull, Hope & Change. That's a great line, the only problem, the GOP is going to use it to sink the Obamanation. He won't be the African American in office, but he may be the last Dem for a long time. I can see the ads. It's heartland America. The sun is rising and a voice comes out, Hope & Change, are you really better off than you were 4 or 6 years ago... Jimmy Carter Obama. Better have your resume up to date, you'll need it in 1273 days, 4 hours, 25 minutes. But whose counting...

Obama tried to rebound on TV last week and ended up getting in the middle of a racial issue and taking sides without the facts.
His poles went down again as a result.
That's what happens when he talks without a teleprompter.
    He is an idiot.

My, some new red meat for the delusional cons. That's OK. just wallow in it for a day or so. We will ignore your stupid right wing nutbag rantinss as usual...just like we did last November.

Prepare for another round in 2010 where your brainless ideology will be so further marginalized that you will have to find a new party to swoon over because the Repubs will be dead and buried!

VOTE OUT ALL REPUBLICANS IN 2010!

I just don't know. President Obama is reported to have a decent three point shot. His rebounding skills are somewhat lacking - according to some players at North Carolina.

Produce the birth certificate for examination, put this to rest once and for all. Or is the fear that the truth will come out?

As republi-can'ts rave on about Obama being bad, our leading indicator of how the economy is doing (dow jones) has risen from the george Bush 6K-7k level to over 9k. Lest you remember that goergie Porgie inherited a market at 15k. So you want another republican president? How broke are you willing to be just to win a contest. How many burnt dead bodies would you like to see? Obama won the election because even a percentage of republicans figured out their own party has betrayed "we the people" in favor of ho chi min. Yes republicans are building sweat shops in veit nam making the upper class who supported the veit cong very rich indeed. So now tell me how jane was the traitor while the enemy is making busness deals with cheney. lol Thank god that a small percentage of republicans finally. get it
