I hope its not just a function of advancing years that makes me see things that way!
Of course Czech women are, by-and-large, absolutely stunning - and not shy about receiving compliments either!!
One day I got off a bus in a distant city and a most beautiful young lady was virtually on her knees, boldly displaying her treasure chest, stroking my dog and addressing her by name..
When I asked her "how do you know?" she appeared quite mortified as she said "Don't you remember! I met you in Prague two days ago!"
To which my [unspoken!] reply might have been - "I meet at least a hundred beautiful women every day because of Maruska!" -

It makes sense, guys tend to go after better looking girls. If more good looking girls are having kids then their genes are getting passed on and a higher percentage of the next generation is going to be considered good looking. Survival of the fittest at its best.

The same thing occurred to me while visiting the zoo one time. It is the males of most species that are the more attractive. Why, because it is the female that chooses her mate and the males have to compete for her. Thus the more attractive male is more often the winner.

The fact that the female is the more attractive sex among humans suggests that it has been the male who chooses the mate, not the female. -
