Posted By c24delta 4 months ago in FamilyThe bed bug or bedbug is an insect that lives by feeding on the blood of humans and other warm blooded host. Bed bugs got their name preferred habitat ie. mattresses, sofas, and other furniture. They are not strictly nocturnal but bedbugs are mainly active at night.
The most common species is the Cimex Lectularis. This species is best adapted to human environments so it will be our main focus.
