Posted By Aidenag 6 months, 1 week ago in Political NewsLess than half of Republicans believe that Barack Obama was born in the United States of America, a new public opinion poll finds. Only 42 percent of Republican respondents in a Research 2000 survey, conducted for the liberal website Daily Kos, said they thought Obama was a natural born citizen; 28 percent said they did not believe Obama was born in the United States; 30 percent said they were not sure.

This birther movement just keeps getting better and better. more than half of the GOP are conspiracy theorists who actually believe or aren't sure if Obama is an American citizen now. And surprise surprise, the south is the region that believes Obama isnt American the most. Which one could argue is more proof that this birther movement is more about the color of his skin, than the place of his birth.

Either way, this is amazing news for Obama and the Democrats. The GOP is quickly turning into a party of raving lunatics that make the moon landing and 9/11 truthers look good. If they keep this up, pretty soon it's all the GOP will have left, is a rabid fanatical voting base that makes up about 20% of the Nation. Just enough to be heard, but nowhere close to being able to get anyone into office ever again. -

The same bunch also attested with great certainty that Obama was a Muslim. And the media keep this going as part of their 24/7 infotainment programming. Much ado about nothing, ultimately affecting nothing. Just something to distract us and waste our time on earth for another day.

"An equal number of us can't believe you people were stupid enough to vote for this guy. "

OK, that is your pinion and you are welcome to it.
I can believe, although I am amazed at the fact, that people were stupid enough to
vote for Bush. That is my opinion and there is very little that you can do about it.
However, the birth business is quite different. The evidence that Obama was born in
Hawaii is overwhelming and is confirmed by the GOP governor of the state.
To stick to claiming that he was not born in the USA is not simply expressing an
opinion, it is denying something that has been as well verified as anything
can be on this earth. -

"28 percent said they did not believe Obama was born in the United States; 30 percent said they were not sure."
that's a far cry from "half believe." you don't know what half believe because 1/3rd are not spoken for.
not being sure is not a belief. all shampoos are soaps, but not all soaps are shampoos.
if those 30 percent had to guess, would they have guessed native?
i don't even have the patience to spell it out any more. this headline is fraudulent. this poll is a cheat. and these comments are in the midst of the fog.
for those of you with any brain power left, i invite you to cite this as an example of how to create a fraudulent headline using a biased poll to create a deceptive illusion.
for those of you who think this headline is an accurate assessment of reality; keep watching television. everything is fine. -

In My Baby Book for the first time I noticed

that my mother noted that I was born On September 28, but the doctor registered my birth as October 4 which is puzzling and there is no one I can
ask, all deceased. My conspiracy theory is
that I was a twin, and the other died at birth.
I got the idea from my mother-in-law who was a
twin and the other one died at birth. It makes
sense to me:o) Phyllis Kunz -
