Could it be that debunked conspiracy theories are a bit too much for CNN viewers to handle? Despite the old truism that controversy boosts ratings, Lou Dobbs' numbers appear to have fallen off since he began running segments questioning whether President Obama is a U.S. citizen, a conspiracy theory that had been previously debunked by his own network. According to The New York Observer, the number of viewers for Dobbs' program declined from an average of 771,000 total viewers from July 1 to July 14, to an average of 653,000 in the next two weeks; Dobbs aired his first report on the birth certificate theory on July 15. While some of the drop may be attributed to the Michael Jackson story tapering off, The Observer's Felix Gillette concludes, "In summary, if Mr. Dobbs' affinity for 'birthers' is a ratings ploy, it's a pretty ineffective one."

This isn't a case of Democrats versus Republicans. It's sentient beings versus the lizard people.

Gee Beave, the dems keep looking for substance in the opposition and all they get is truthers or birthers or "NO"! Get a conscience, some morals and a brain, then you too can become a real American, beave! Sorry that you are such an un-American, rudderless fool now, beave!

FTA: "Orly Taitz, the mastermind behind the Obama birth certificate controversy"

Well if this is the work of a "mastermind" it would be fascinating to find out who she is ultimately trying to benefit.
As it stands now it seems to me that this faux wild-goose-chase is succeding only in making its supporters look like lunatics and will lead to people leaving the Republican Party in droves. -

Clever people know how to make money off others, and the far right wingers are ready buyers of any conspiracies that help (in their own minds) delegitimize whatever Democratic administration is in the White House at the time. But there's no shame with extreme partisans.

If she releases a documentary, it'll get snapped up and occupy space in their DVD collection, next to "The Clinton Chronicles". This crowd will always have a conspiracy or three to feed off of. They make their choices.-

It seems that BO was born around 1961 or so he says. I think Hawaii became a state in 1958 maybe 59. If it's possible Obama was able to lie about his age and actually was born in "57" then he isn't a citizen, I think that unlikely though. So I say he is probably a citizen. The question should actually be is Obama a good citizen, the answer to that is a no-brainer, the answer is NO!
