Brad Baugh lives in Savannah, Georgia, where he buys and renovates houses. He told me two things the other day that exposed a great opportunity in this treacherous recession -- and that may even shine a light on our way out of it.
The first thing he told me didn't surprise me: he's not buying anything.
It's not that he can't find good deals; he showed me several reasonably priced buildings he'd like to buy. The problem is the bank.

Excellent article and so true. I have had similar experiences with non-responsive companies but then it's always been that way here in Tampa. It's improved over the years as more businesses from up north move in who have agressive and successful businesses...shoving the old lazy and smug southerner out of the way. Problem is, there are still a lot of old lazy smug gun totin racist bible thumpin Republican southerners here. But there is hope, not only is the business ethic changing, the political balance is beginning to tip here as well as more and more people are registering and voting Democrat. Those people seem to want my business, providing service with a smile. They are the winners and in future elections more and more of the losers, the Republicans, will fade away. That is a wonderful thing. Just what the world needs, fewer Republicans..no, check that, NO REPUBLICANS AT ALL for they are the source of do nothing goose-stepping ideologies. Good riddance I say.

What the country needs is leadership, for which it is currently lacking. What liberals have done to California is creeping throughout the country. Is this really what you want libs, to destroy my country. Do you really hate America so much that you're willing to put up with the joke you elected to lead this country?? Sickening.
