Stop being such a hypocrite. This makes you mad? How about all the other illegal immigrants? They are somebody's brothers, sisters, aunts and uncles too. Does your heart bleed for them too? Or is it just the money spent on this woman that makes you mad? Would you be happier if Obama tried to influence the justice system to make and exception for his aunt?

OK, ribii, are you a 'conservative"? From some of your other comments it even seems that you might be a libertarian. Do you take care of all your extended family, even the ones you barely know, or do you believe in individual responsibility? This aunt is a big girl you know, who should be able to take care of herself and should have left the country four years ago. Does your heart bleed for all the illegal immigrants or only for this one?

So much concern about someone else's relative. Bet you wouldn't have any concerns if she was a aunt to a nobody because empathy or even sympathy is far from the standard concerns of Republicans. When you side in favor of private insurers and no choice of options over the uninsured and those with less than stellar healthcare insurance, then you are lacking any real emotional feelings for those less fortunate. So quit pretending.

He could take some of those book deal bucks and buy his aunt a condo and set her up with a trust fund for the rest of her life.
He would lead by example and more people would follow suit.
But, instead, he prefers to have everyone give more to a government that will waste everyone's money instead of letting individuals decide what happens with their cash.
The statist hypocrisy in a nutshell. -
