it is a very serious problem .... it's very sad to see people with dementia... you love them and they don't remember who you are... it rips you apart.. -

My Dad passed in 2007 at 93 from AZH. He diagnosed his own condition - an Internist for over 60 years. He was an extremely smart and intelligent man. The day after he diagnosed his condition he passed power of attorney to my physician sister. Mother is 90 and shows no indication of AZH/Dementia, etc., just normal 90 yo symptoms. :-)

Now pushing 70, I take special notice of the gene pool provided and make it a point to take advantage of all the tests available.
