Has Digg Dug its Grave? »
Posted By newsguy2005 3 months, 3 weeks ago in Science & TechnologySeveral weeks, maybe even a month ago, Digg removed the ability to shout a post to your Digg friends. I vaguely remember that they also said they would give us a replacement for it, but I've yet to see a new solution.

I only got into Digg around last Christmas, and really got into it. I quickly got several of my articles to the FP and tons of hits and greatly improved the search ranking of my website.

Then, they implemented a limit on how many diggs you could do in any given period. Then they did away with the shouting system.
Initially I scoffed at those who said it had something to do with eliminating conservatives from Digg, who had figured out how to get their articles up to FP and were a growing presence. Then I was getting banned for the slightest infraction, and ultimately I was perma-banned for "hate speech" which was utter BS.
Now I believe the conspiracy theorists. At least as far as the Digg Conspiracy goes. -
