OLED(Organic Light Emitting Diode) Laptop's are rumored to hit the US Market in early 2009, and are likely to be shown off at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) during the first week of january! They boast an unbelievably thin (3mm) screen because OLEDs use light-emitting diodes (hence the name) made up of electroluminescent organic compounds to produce different colors. Because OLED displays do not require a backlight, they are thinner and use less power, and the images are bright, colorful, and visible at an angle. And you can also say goodbye to the conventional keyboard, and hello to touch screen micro thin OLED keyboards! As always, expect state of the art technology and super processors to make these new laptops run faster than ever!
