Sounds like he's trying to drum up more business. I believe in the right of a person to protect himself but I thought the federal government banned the sale of hand guns across state lines years ago.-

No, actually interstate commerce in firearms, including handguns is alive and well. Perhaps you didn't already know that because it's not really the huge problem some people make it out to be. Federally licensed gun dealers may freely sell across state lines as long as the item can be legally sold in that state, and firearms transfers (registration) are carried out through a dealer licensed in that state. Also, private individuals may sell across state lines as long as it is shipped to and processed by (registered) a dealer licensed in the receiving state.

I spend a thousand dollars a year or more on firearms accessories with online merchants. I appreciate the service they provide, and I recommend checking them out. They certainly keep the local guys honest.
