_Passed a $787 billion stimulus package of tax cuts, benefit increases and new spending on road, bridge and other job-producing projects aimed at helping pull the country out of a recession.
_Expanded health care subsidies for children of low-income parents to cover an additional 4 million children. Former President George W. Bush had vetoed similar legislation.

I'm not the least bit impressed with the figures associated with money. But I do favor helping our children...helping them requires we dismiss the thoughts of money...prior to discussing them. As I will never justify another human being the way they do in Washington...they are the destroyers.

Funny how they say these things are accomplishments when nothing good has come of them. I heard Oregon is touting all the jobs that were created for the stimulus. The jobs only lasted ONE WEEK.
