Broken Promise: Obama Said He'd Negotiate Health Care Reform on C-SPAN
Barack Obama promised to negotiate health care reform in public on C-SPAN.
PolitiFact reported:
To achieve health care reform, "I'm going to have all the negotiations around a big table. We'll have doctors and nurses and hospital administrators. Insurance companies, drug companies -- they'll get a seat at the table, they just won't be able to buy every chair. But what we will do is, we'll have the negotiations televised on C-SPAN, so that people can see who is making arguments on behalf of their constituents, and who are making arguments on behalf of the drug companies or the insurance companies. And so, that approach, I think is what is going to allow people to stay involved in this process."
Instead, we get Pelosi holding secret late night sessions with lobbyists in dark offices -

first, going through the departments, committees, commissions, to see if they were really needed.
Transparency - he was so critical of Bush on this that I did believe that he meant it when he said transparency would rule. -

I liked Obama's statement that he would post all new bills on the internet for 5 day before he signed them so everyone interested could read them and comment. What a load, I think he signed the stimulus bill before it was even completely written. Of course, it was important that it be signed quickly so unemployment wouldn't go about 8.5%.

What friggin planet are you on? People are ****** off because because they don't want their healt care socialized and you're still recycling the libs talking points. Get real kid, this bill is political suicide for the libs and zero-bama is prepping for a GOP takeover of the house and senate. Not that that would be a bad thing.

hey Einstrin maybe you missed yesterdays Rasmussen poll. It seems that 45% of the people judged Obama to be an effective leader. That down 20 points in 6 months. He is deropping like a stone. And before you come back with the typical lib retort big deal its the Rasmussen poll remember this Rasmussen the ACCURATE poll. During the election with ALL liberal had Obama ahead by double digiits up to 12% to 14% Rasmussen had him ahead by 6%. Rassmussen has been the most accurate and consistent poll these past several elections.

You cons will never be in charge of this country again. The majority of americans realize you are a pack of lying thugs. Its as simple as that. We realize you are fronting for the insurance monopoly, big petroleum, anti-science, and in general, for the rich.
Reply
Your only true motivation is to keep money and power in the hands of insurance monopoly, but most of you are too stupid to see that, you are fighting out of party loyality, elevating that well past what is best for the country.
To the cons, there is no country, only party. -
