It takes little effort to dispute these myths. The home page of http://factcheck.org/ has several links debunking the myths the right have attached to health care reform. And if you type in the search: Myths Obama's health care plan you get 19 results:

I believe Palin and Beck don't understand the legislation and refuse to believe anyone who shows them evidence that they're wrong.
I believe Gingrich is smart enough to know better, and is deliberately lying.
I'll repeat, and try to be brief. The section in H.R. 3200 that leads some to think "government death panels" could be created comes from Section 1233 of the bill, which defines "advance care planning consultation."
That service is precisely defined because Section 1233 amends Section 1861 of the Social Security Act to allow payment for that service. Section 1861 of SSA lists several miscellaneous services Medicare will pay for. No one is forced to use any of those services.
Therefore, "advance care planning consultation" is defined by H.R. 3200 as a service available, but not mandatory, to those covered by Medicare.-

Isn't it ironic that these people who completely without grounds say Obama is destroying the Constitution then turn around and completely abuse their 1st Amendment right to freedom of speech? Isn't anyone noticing that no attempt has been made to stop them? Nor should any such effort be taken. Let them show their true colors. You have to be believe that the truth will eventually win out. In the meantime these deceivers will damage alot of already fragile minds. In the end it was by those viewers and listeners own choice. I don't pity them.
Glenn says God kept putting Mormons in his way. That's why he converted to the LDS church. Yet there is no greater fraud of a religion on this Earth than Mormonism. Joseph Smith was a known charlatan. A man who convinced witnesses to say they had seen things they knew in fact they never saw. Perhaps that is why Glenn can relate so well to his beliefs? Maybe someday Glenn will dig up his own set of Golden Plates? I wouldn't put it past him.

You have members of Obama's Health Care policy team stating recently, and in the past, that Health Care must be rationed. That we need to have cost-benefit analysis in regards to where to direct government dollars when it comes to health care. We've got all kinds of statements that should lead any normal person to a conclusion that the people advising the President are saying the government would be looking at a persons situation and decide whether their care will be subsidized by the government.

So someone who isn't a proponent of the government having this kind of power over the population AT ALL, would probably be a little skeptical about ANY kind of power which could potentially lead to the government making these kind of life and death decisions.
Because EVERYONE should know that the language of a bill or law is written to seem very innocuous and even positive, but the application of the law could be something much different which would technically fall into the parameters of the language in the bill.
You want the government to have that kind of power over you because you trust bureaucrats for some reason. Others don't. -

Many people have not done this for various reasons, not the least of which are the perceived cost of doing so & ignorance of their meanings.
Proper mangement of these documents can relieve many families of unneccessary heartache & financial disaster.-

I have written literally hundreds of living wills/dnrs in my career. The number ONE reason, from experience, that people are leery is they are afraid of who exactly is going to have the say-so to pull the plug and when. In Louisiana, it's the parent(s) who have the final, followed by the surviving spouse followed by the children. But .. I know of no physician OR parent that is not going to follow the wish of the surviving spouse/children, etc. What goes on in the "room" is nobody else's business. And I haven't seen a challenge yet.
