I will miss this show -- a lot. It is rare to see anything out of Hollywood that has true spirituality, rather than just platitudes and canned, mainstream religion.

This show is not knee-jerk. Holly Hunter's character is really quite skanky, but she really loves her family, her job and does her best to do right by the victims of the crimes she is investigating. Earl, her angel, is really full of common sense and wisdom (as much as you'll find on any tv show, anyway). I hope that God's take on the world is similar to Earl's interpretation of God. -
