This is really simple. first, the only real objection to this health care plan is the lost revenue the insurance companies will endure.second, its a simple case that if gov runs plan there is no profit taking. when wall street runs it, profit is a must. Before the republicans started deregulating things our hospitals in America where "not for profit" organizations. The whole dam mess happened when they handed the hospitals to wall street. Read the plan then listen to what republicans are saying. It's like there are two different plans. But there is not two different plans. Just lies from the right wingers who hate "we the people" and would rather have stars and bars then have stars and stripes

Please don't confuse "pay your bills" with "profit." Covering operating expenses is NOT the same as being "profitable." Making a profit means you have money left AFTER you pay all your bills, salary, and other overhead. In other words, money left to return to investors (stockholders or other vested owners) as an ongoing dividend - instead of a simple repayment of up-front loans with interest. (Those would be "bonds" or the like that are eventually paid off in full and no money is owing.)

There are still all three types of Hospitals; for profit, non-profit, and not for-profit. There are also not for-profit insurance companies out there as well. So who is exactly not telling the truth here, seems like both sides seem to not tell the slightest bit of truth to get more control.

Find your own answers and get informed, insurance is not the enemy of the population. Regulations and market interference by the US government are playing a larger role in the escalating health care costs. Insurance premiums reflects the anticipated cost to cover those insured by a company or plan. Uninformed and skeptics of insuring one's self or family independently, as well as some government regulations, increases costs to us all. The overwhelming tax code for business also blurs the lines of whom is at fault for much of the current situation.

See above for the first part of your question.

To answer your last part. Not really since most people receive their insurance as part of their compensation by their employer. Cost of coverage and ease of dealing with for the employer may play a larger role then the company and their ability to pay for your care. Not for profit is not the same as cheaper and more affordable.
