The reality is; Americans should not be held hostage by the U.S. Government under the proposed socialized healthcare scheme when bureaucrats will deny medical care on the basis of age, sexual orientation, race, economic status or any other government defined criterion.

he would need to be containing b.s.
or at least be a conduit for it.
Then he would open his mouth

Speaking of bs......did anyone watch Meet the Press this morning? The reason I ask is that Charlie Rendel (D-NY) was on and was asked how Obama would pay for this health care reform. Rendel's answer was kind of confusing and rambling,he's not a very good speaker and David Gregory had to return him to topic 3 times. But Rendel said one thing that stuck out for me.....he said one of the ways to cut health care costs was for "the right people to get the right procedures". What did he mean by that? Just wondering if anyone else watched and what their opinion was of this statement.

It is really hard to say what Rendel had in mind. It could be as simple as..... 'if they have appendicitis then take out the appendix and nothing more' to a more ominous implication of managed care' that if the 'politically correct person' needs to have multiple by pass surgeries then they get the surgery before or totally in place of other people of lesser ' monetary or societal values' do.

Just a simple point, but Charles Rendell Mabey was Governor of Utah from 1921 - 1925. Ed Rendell is currently the Governor of Pennsylvania and has been for about 7 years. I suspect the politician to whom you refer is Charlie Rangel, Congressman from New York's 15th district. He sits on a wide variety of committees and has worked on health care issues for over a decade.

Personally, I think people who post and prop this kind of thing are exposing themselves as devoid of logic or good arguments for their side of the discussion. People who posted the same kind of things about President Bush were just as bad.
Inactive, I'm not trying to be rude, I'm just saying that I'm more than willing to discuss actual issues of contention, if that is your goal, but that this kind of posting makes me wonder if I should take the time. -

Briefly put, - American conservatives have no leader;
- have no plan;
