However, humor does often help especially if you want to discuss these topics with your teens. Bill McKibben, writer and environmentalist, was on the Colbert Report the other night. He is currently working on a campaign, 350.org , and spoke to Colbert about why 350 is the most important number in the world. This very funny clip helped to raise awareness of this serious topic:

Here is a fact. People at most create 3% of the CO2. Doing all of the things that Goreabites and others want done will drop the number to 2% at best. So for a 1% difference we are to kill our way of life and spend trillions doing it. That is insignificant to affect the warming in any way.
