    I had the pleasure to consult with Nike around the turn of the millennium- turning scrap into footwear has been on their radar for awhile. They even designed a baby shoe where the design was derived from the shape of the scrap- not the other way around.

    Instead of laying off people and squandering resources, using people and creating jobs to conserve dwindling resources- let's "just do it!"
