A vopy of the Health Care Bill as of July 14, 2009

It is disgraceful that a bill like this is even presented to the American people before it has been thoroughly studied by members of Congress.

Various agencies would be "interpreting" the bill and preparing rules and regulations.

If someone here can find the protections for those in need of medical care, please tell us.

Also page 170 appears to say that anyone living in the United States would be included included in any government medical coverage.

    A pertinent comment from my email:

    IRONIC ISN'T!!!

    Let me get this straight.

    Obama's health care plan will be written by a committee whose head says he doesn't understand it,

    passed by a Congress that hasn't read it,

    signed by a president who smokes,

    funded by a treasury chief who did not pay his taxes,

    overseen by a surgeon general who is obese, and

    financed by a country that is nearly broke.

    What could possibly go wrong?

    If they can't do the job, fire them all!

    Hmmmm, it's the "other purposes' that worry me.

      That's to funny. I, for the life of me, can't figure out why these libs are ready to follow 0bama to the 'grave'? They continue to 'stumble' along not knowing what the heck is going on but trusting in the 'Great One'.

      Go figure?

      I guess the libs on here are afraid to read the bill.

        This bill HAS NOTHING to do with health care for the American people. It's about controlling the American people. A blind nun in a closet could see that.

            One of Obamas main selling points he pushes is that you can keep the doctor you already have. From P.58, lines 5-13;

            "(D) enable the real time (or near real time) determination of an individuals financial responsibility at the point of service, and to the extent possible, prior to service, including whether the individual is eligible for a specific service with a specific physician at a specific facility, which may include utilization of a machine-readable health plan identification card;

            So if your credit is not up to par, you end up going to a cheaper clinic instead of the doctor you already have? No one on here has brought this point up before. I just happen to run across it, kinda jumped off the page at me.
