Senate Democrats considering illegal measures to force through ObamaCare »

If you're going to trample the Constitution to illegally nationalize an entire industry that you are unmistakably forbidden to touch, then why stop there? Why not break other laws in the process of shoving it down America's throats?

Even veteran Democrat Senator Robert Byrd, who the "Byrd Rule" was named after, has freely acknowledged that this measure cannot be legally used to force through ObamaCare.

Why left trashing the constitution and breaking a few laws stop the Democrats? What's to stop them? After all if the President can appoint 44 crooks and communists and call them CZARS, what breaking a few little laws???? -

Ah, yes, Barbara Boxer's "fake protesters" bit--shot down by another Obamacare fanatic who criticized the townhall protesters that you actually see on most TV slots for dressing down. If they really want to be taken seriously, the fanatic wrote, they should wear suits (by Brooks Brothers, perhaps?).

Once Barbara Boxer and this other fanatic get their act together, then we can talk about whether the GOP is at all implicated in these townhall protests. -

Sex changed middle man is at it again. The red herring approach. Never discuss the topic but attack the opposition with things not talked about. If you can't win the argument then change the subject.

What a bunch of garbage that he spouts forth. This bunch of one liners are mostly the liberals twisting things to make them look bad for the Republicans.
Calling people obscene names and saying they were exposed. This is part and parcel of the liberal demonization of opponents. That is how liberals now try to convince the American people. Not how good the programs are but attack the opposition.
In bed with insurance companies. The purpose of the Lewin Group is to study and look at health care problems and solutions. So they will be in bed with insurance and health care providers. Big deal. That is their job.
Skipping down to the global warming forged letters. Another garbage topic. The whole global warming idiocy is getting very old. Since the turn of the century the temperature plateaued and has gone down. Man made CO2 is about 3% of the total CO2 produced. Implementing the solutions that the Global Warmers want will reduce it to 2% and drastically reduce the way of life in the world. That 1% drop means that the WHOLE WORLD has to conform.
Rove central to attorney firings. There is much ado about absolutely nothing. They served at the pleasure of the President and he could fire them because he did not like the way they parted their hair. Clinton fired a bunch of them and that was OK. But a Republican does it and liberals go bonkers.
On and on this list of liberal twisting things to look bad. -

nice misdirection meso.

lets stay on task here.
if the democrats use reconciliation to ram this through they must know that when they are out, whether its in 2010 or 2030, they will face the same payback.
what they talk about doing is either brinksmanship that can blow up in their (and our) faces, or outright politically suicidal.
i'm not a big believer in polls because voters can be so fickle, but the Obama team has to see the declining poll numbers as non-validation of their ideas. that is, unless they are nuts and decide to plow ahead at full speed. after all, they are in the drivers seat. as it is. -

raats, the Republicans don't have to read recipes or the Bible for a long time. They can start their filibuster by reading THEIR bill, HR 3400, which you ignore by your false claim that Republicans oppose Health Insurance Reform. Then they can read the bill they are opposing, HR 3200, and comment on one provision after another--the following website will give them quite a few pointers to start with:

Then they can compare the two bills, section by section, to let everyone know what the differences are, and what the likely outcomes of the various opposing proposals are. To relieve the monotony, they can also draw on numerous commentaries that tell the public just how misleading Obama's, Pelosi's, Boxer's, etc. attempts to discredit opponents of the bill are.
I doubt that any Republican will dare to end THIS kind of "nonsense" as you put it, and I wonder how many Democrats will dare to do it as long as the filibusterers stick to the general topic of healthcare and the machinations of the Democrats to suppress the truth about HR 3200 and HR 3400. -
