Now that the nutjob right wing policies of Bush have been reversed, perhaps we can continue to make even greater advances using stem cells. It's absolutely rediculous that we lost 8 years of valuable time due to Bush's misguided religious beliefs. I believe Jesus would have been in favor of saving the afflicted, not writing their death warrants like Bush did. Talk about Death Panels!!

Trying to find a little light in the darkness of the past 8 years, at least other countries continued with their research, and a few advances were made in the field. Granted, more progress could have been made without our backward thinking. This is definitely one of the most promising pieces of science I've seen in a long time. The impact it can make is almost beyond belief.
