People hate Americans throughout the world because they hate our way of life. Eff the militants who want kill our presidents. Obama needs to stop this ridiculous tour of the world trying to win over our enemies because it ain't gonna happen. He needs to focus on protecting us and protecting his family.

Militant groups such as these don't hate us because of our freedoms or 'way of life', they hate us because of a foreign policy that turns a blind eye to injustice in the third world and is viewed by many as imperialistic and expansionist.

Bush had a long-standing closed-door policy regarding factions he labeled as 'evil'. Well, 'evil' is overly-simplistic and naive. Obama wants to sit down with more moderate elements in hopes of swaying enough of the main stream to disavow the radical. Saber-rattling and threats only turns more moderates into militants.

I think the Indonesian militants,would see the murder of Obama as a big coup.Especially if you take into account, the fact he spent some of his early years being reared there.

I don't think it has anything to do with liberal hatred,just the regular religious fanaticism,that abounds these days.
As a Brit I hold Americans in high esteem,though I find the right wing of the republican party unpleasant.I find the continued interfering in other peoples affairs,by Bush and other rightist foreign policy hounds,a blot on the American reputation.I also find the hatred of socialized medicine and education,again prompted by the right,mistaken,it shows that they would rather keep vested interests happy,at the price of the citizens well-being -
