We The People........ »

Bob Basso plays the role of Thomas Paine to ignite the fire of change in Ameria.

How has this happened? The people we have put in office are a reflection of our own consciousness. We cannot right what has happened to our government without first re-awakening our own commitment to our Freedom Documents and understanding the role each of us plays in holding our government accountable for their actions. As is now clear to all our citizens and the world, we have reached a defining and critical moment in our history. With hearts inspired by love for God and Country, and devotion to duty, We The People must awaken and save our Constitution and Bill of Rights before it is too late. May every patriotic heart awaken to this call and join us.

What our goverment is trying to turn us into just cannot be allowed to happen. We have begun, thanks in part to 0bama and Bush, a return to true conservative values held in place by the grace of God. The values this country was founded on and where it is now headed.

Vote in 2010 to take our country back!!

I can't get the 'tube'' to play but I'll say "right on" to the words of article..... Hopefully in 2010 'We The People' will start to take our Republic back from the professional politicians and sycophants, thereby giving our country back to our children to live as free and democratic citizens; not to a clutch of people with social and political entitlements granted to this 'minority population of insiders' by Govt policies.

Where are our Thomas Paines and Patrick Henrys for today? Everyone seems to be a coward.

And of course, from the Democratic Party perspective, the 2008 election was the election where "the people" really did take back the country.

More proof of "patriotism" being used by a certain class of person as a refuge, if you know what I mean.

He's right on - except for the statement about the electoral college. Our country is a representative republic - NOT a democracy (which is majority rule). If it wasn't for our system, the whole country would be run by the big city liberals (and Algore would have been president on 9/11)...

And for those that seem tho believe that the majority of this country is not conservative:

Conservatives Now Outnumber Liberals in All 50 States, Says Gallup Poll

Don't be fooled by the last election. Too many people didn't even know that democrats controlled both houses of congress since 2007. And as for the 2009 election, conservatives simply had no one that represented them. Hopefully, that will not be the case in 2012...
