Is the Recession Over? More Good News »
Posted By adeelarshad82 4 months ago in Business & FinanceYesterday I said that the hard evidence for the recession being over was a little soft, with only three of the four main coincident indicators turning up. Today’s announcement of industrial production gives us a second indicator that has turned up, at least for one month.

France and Germany had a 1% increase. that's growth?
don't get cocky. be afraid. be very afraid. nothing has fundamentally changed except people are mentally exhausted from all the bad news. that's not the same thing as a recovery.-

c'mon beav - you know growth will not be strong until unemployment is back to the 5% - 6% range, or less. Remember, consumer spending accounts for two-thirds of the economy.

Any increase in GDP, no matter little, is cause to believe that we may be on track to recovery.
