Liberals keeping their head in the sand. These bills in congress are based on Dashle's book on health care. He touted the British model and stated that elderly people wold have to just live with the problems that come with age. The safe and effective will go to safe and COST effective. The older a person gets the less cost effective a procedure gets. Obama talked about his grandmother getting an expensive procedure and said that she really should not have been allowed to get it because she died within 2 years. When the procedure is to keep the person alive it will become a life or death decision. In Oregon a woman had cancer and the state declined to pay for it saying they would pay for comfort care and euthanasia counseling. After it was on the news locally the pharmaceutical company making the chemo therapy drug provided it to her for free. 2 months treatment at $4,000 a month. This is what Obama care looks like. Happens in Canada and Britain all the time.

Well I have always had a theory that if a person on death row, instead of dragging out the process for ten, twenty years could make a deal with the state. For x amount of dollars He would drop all appeals, and be executed post haste.I believe an elderly person should have the type option.Instead of a lengthy drawn out treatment to extend a life for x amount of years, give my designee a small lump sum,and then kill me.Problem solved money ,and population both benifit.
