She loves beer, of course DR!
Lately she has been on the wagon because of another little problem that we'll still have to deal with after this one is over.
Her recovery from this attack has been extraordinary.
The vet had been coming every day to give her injections but as of today we can give her oral medication.
Fortunately this does not cost an arm and a leg - though we'd have gone into deep debt if necessary!
Unfortunately humans don't get the same attention through the "health system" and my hand is healing much more slowly - though it was nothing like such a serious wound.
Tomorrow to my own doctor, who was away.

  I'm glad to hear she's doing okay, when I first read about it I couldn't even finish the description it was so sad! Very very glad though to hear the good news, I wish her best of luck in her full recovery.

    Thank you! If I had published a picture of what she looked like after it happened it would seem unbelievable that her coat could ever be reattached and hold and that the muck could be cleaned and the bites healed..
    But here we are a few short days later and the work is almost done - thouh we still have to keep praying that nothing goes amiss.
    Perhaps most amazing that she has stayed calm and peaceful throughout virtually everything - and she's not such a Buddhist in her everyday life :).
    My partner, who never was a dog person but now also has a little guy of her own - the black Urpur in one of the pics - is also very clever in the practical healing realm - and I have quite a bit of experience in more esoteric tehniques.
    Our reason for posting is to channel the energy to exactly where its needed - and as usual when the chips are down the propeller community is generous and loving with thoughts and words.
