4th Ammendment. Unreasonable search and seizure. Has this law crossed the line?

Why does it take as long as three hours to get a warrant for the test? Seems to me that's what should be fixed. It's not OK if even one American is deprived of his/her rights for the sake of expediency.

Well, I don't want some officer of the law to stick a needle in me.

Having been a drunk driver in my distant past, I can sympathise with the officers and victims of the drunk drivers.

But I do not see where sticking someone with a needle is going to prevent a drunk from driving.
Drunks drive because they are mentally impaired from the alcohol, we have to prevent the drunks from driving drunk in the first place.

Take away their vehicles when they are caught for their second offense. Make them uninsurable for three years, and make public transportation more readily available for people.

No one ever said the constitution gave a one a right to drive drunk, or to drive a car at all if one is a menace to society in it.

As far as someone sticking a needle in me ??? Well I would sue them until the cows came home. Ya better take me to a medical facility and have a qualified medical practioner due that !!!!

I don't know, I can go either way on this. I agree with Jovial that the warrant process is what needs to be fixed.

I too believe that a person qualified to take blood should do the test.So a drunk driver deserves a trip to jail to be tested.Nothing more, nothing less.

And so you presume guilt; nothing more, nothing less.

The law is only? good if those that enforce it are law abiding. The law can fall into evil hands as it is.
