I agree completely. The way the name/words Hitler, Nazis, Fascist and Neo (which simply means "new" in Latin) are thrown around is stupid, immature and insulting to all those who died fighting against the Nazis. And yes, it comes from all sides. Liberals, conservatives, left-wingers, right wing and socialists. All have been called these names, and all have used them. Here on Propeller, it is the main trigger point for me to give a neg-vote. Of all the insults that are thrown around here, as soon as I see one of those I roll my eyes and hit "Negative".

Hilter's reign did not happen over night. It took years for him to build his base, gather his followers, then become the leader of Germany. History has given us a blue print of what can happen if it is not questioned before it is too late. People may not like Obama and Hitler in the same sentence but we have seen the pattern before. People are afraid and do not want history to repeat itself. I would rather see it questioned and changes made now before it gets out of hand. Then realizing one day that it is too late to do anything.

To try and equate the current US administration with the NAZI'S IMHO Is just plain nuts, and I'm being kind in saying that.

"This is humanity's dark potential, and something that we all need to remember, whether we were there or not, or whether our family was affected or not, because this is what people can do to each other. To strip those words of their power and meaning in order to create political fear for self-gain is inexcusable and needs to be confronted and refuted whenever it arises, by all of us, whether we support the current health care bill and the current president or not."-

The same could be said of the previous administration, but that didn't stop the detractors. It must hurt terribly now that the shoe is on the other foot.
