Near future bgings new mind-control technologies to our world and immediately takes the minds of society. On this wave a multiplayer online game “Slayers” appears. It allows gamers to guide and control real human death row prisoners in mass battles and chases. Every prisoner sins a contract that if he lives through 30 battles he wins the freedom.

Kable (Gerard Butler) is the current champion and cult hero of the game. He is controlled by Simon (Logan Lerman), a young gamer with rock star status. Kable has already lived through and won 27 matches. His every move is tracked by millions of reople who watch the battles. He knows how to survive on the war field, but now his challenge is not to win (he know how to do that), but to regain his identity and independence. He decides to attack the whole system and to defeat the game’s mastermind Ken Castle (Michael C. Hall) to become really free. -
