Posted By populist 4 months, 1 week ago in Political OpinionThe 10th Amendment was ratified as an exclamation point on the Constitution – and it lays out in plain English that our federal government is to be one of limited, enumerated powers – not the nearly unlimited, unchecked one that it has become today.

It is truly a shame that no one educates or debates the Constitution and its original amendments. I can only guess because it would never support their view or desires for the US government.

FTA:
"It truly is our modern line in the sand. On one side, we have those who believe in limiting the power of politicians, and on the other are those that trust the government to do everything.
The 10th Amendment is the safety valve that makes it clear, especially in conjunction with the 9th, that it was The People who created the federal government to be our agent for certain enumerated purposes…….and nothing more."
And yet today, when "The People" rise up in opposition against the biggest, most insidious power grab in our nation's history, they are met everywhere with cries of "Racism!", because the president presiding over that federal power grab, in addition to being a big-government statist, is also black.
How convenient. -

The Congress of 1791 made it a standard to improve, revise, and correct...itself and everything it did. Look at what they have accomplished! Nothing! Not the congress of 1791...but everyone since!
