But his statement has blossomed among theologians and members of the religious right chiming in with their own answers to the question: Did God send the Minneapolis tornado because Lutherans were voting on gay issues?

If the good pastor can demonstratively prove that the holy tornado only targeted those Lutherans that voted for gay rights, then he might have a leg to stand on. If not, it demonstrates he is without a leg to stand on.

There are lots of religous nutjobs out there. Didn't some right-wing Christianist say that 9/11 was due to all the homosexuals in NY? Or that the Tsunami was because of all those dirty Muslims?

What's amazing to me is that people don't see the obvious hatred spilling over out of these disgusting people who claim to walk Christ's path.
