So why isn’t this kind of service available in the US? For starters, there are still plenty of people who purchase music legally in America and with a significantly lesser population than China, the music companies still feel like they have some control over the situation. In China, the government is too busy blocking websites about the Dalai Lama and chasing down blog critics to really care about illegal music downloads. That battle was lost a long time ago.
