Back in January when Barack Obama took office the Democrats seemed to think that they were finally going to get their message across on health care and sail the reforms they wanted through on the back of a hugely popular and charismatic new president. Public opinion seemed to be on their side and with a majority in Congress ready to support it should have all added up to plain sailing. But that was in January. In the heat of August things are looking very different.

it doesn't even matter...the USA is less a democracy than Cuba and certainly the main exporter of terrorism worldwide. Three cheers for it's global assault on the environment and it's exploitation of 3rd world countries on behalf of the elitist Bilderbergs and their quest for the "New World Order"

Moon -- Kind of stereotyping, aren't you? There were very real non-ideological reasons to be skeptical of Prez O's plan, whatever it was. Personally, I am not "wealthy" and don't wan't to begrudge anyone the chance at health insurance. But I'd prefer to do via a system that showed some evidence of rational thought rather than through an ideologically-driven "let's throw money at the wall" approach. Prez O both (a) deserved better thinking from his people, and (b) should have had the astuteness to ask the right questions. What happened to him is not unusual--politicians often let ideology get in the way of thought. But I thought we were supposed to be out of that territory.

You all are not hurting Obama, nor the uninsured or illegal immigrants. You are hurting yourselves. Rather than the Government helping out, you will continue to pay the named above Health Care, with higher Premiums. Go ahead and win the Battle, but lose the War.

Where is his leadership on DEMANDING not asking and smiling to Kadafy, the Venezualian wanna be, N. vacation after vacation on our tax paying dollars (who is paying for all of the security required)
being a racist against the white community
not producing his birth certificate (why is he still in office)
lied about getting a dog from the humane society, then getting an expensive pedigreed dog and naming "bo" (racist)
sticking up for his black freind calling the white police officer stupid wasting our time and tax paying dollars to air
then inviting them to the white house for a beer never apologizing for what he said on national television
nationwide annoucement on the cash for clunkers program that would run until november (his words) here it is only august and its ended( the banks and the goverment made tons of money off of that deal)

Lets see, so what, so what, no, Republican gov. of Hawii announced Birthers crazy, I had a white (albino) dog named booboo does that make me a racist too? Everyone in that incident acted "stupidly at some point, doesn't make any of them racist. Beer good, Cash for clunkers probably has put the auto industry bakc on it's feet (I hope). We need health insurance reform. The government needs to change some rules to favor free market competition and support the people. Government should NOT try to run healthcare. They are completely incompetent.ie medicare/medicare broke.

“Your (the US) making less money on your job and could not pay the bills you already have (Welfare, Social Security, Stimulus/Bailout) unless you got a second job (more taxes). But, still you want a new boat (the Health Care boat) instead of fixing the boat (Insurance boat) you already have. You can borrow the money. But…. You’ve borrowed so much money from all your neighbors it will take over 100 years to repay it.
Mr. China has already loaned you enough money to own part of your children’s and grand children’s wages when they grow up.
But you want that Health Care Boat, got to have it, you promised all your friends (the whole country) a ride on it.
You (BO and Congress) will do anything to get it, Lie, Sneak, Cheat and Sellout anyone to get it!
You (the US) have no money in the bank (our deficit), borrowed more then can be paid back in a lifetime (National Debt) and a job (Taxes ) that barely pays the interest on that you’ve already borrowed… Can you/we really afford this boat (the Health Care boat)”

“No money for Health Care”. Again, we have no way of paying for this Health Care proposal or anything else for that matter. We, all of us are borrowing over a trillion dollars for this diluted dream. BO and our Congress were to pay for this Health Care with available funds. But there are none.

Our daily United States interest is over $1.25 billion a day. Most of what is owed to China… Yes China.
Again, we, you, I “The United States” pays $1,250,000,000.oo a day in interest to other countries or institutions and the President and Congress wants to spend more money.
This is just over the top irresponsible and near criminally insane.
We as a nation are so far in debt the present pay down will take over 100 years to repay and achieve a balanced US financial budget without added more spending.-

You people are so dumb until it hurts. How can you side with the Insurance Companies that are milking you blind, with high Premiums you can't afford. They see their Cash Cow being threatened. The REPs Senators are in the Insurance Companies Lobbyists pockets, sure they are going to side with them. Even if Obama says that the same Insurance he gets will be available. Then you all will be crying, " Where is the money coming from"? You can not satisfy the American people. What they really need is a hard hearted Dictator, one that will kick their asses and take names. And all opponents will be shot at sun rise. Then things can get done in this Country.

Many of us agree that the health insurance companies have not been playing fair with the American people. Even the insurance companies agree with that. At least it appears they did when they sat down with Obama and gave him everything he asked for.
The Czars made an easy target for Lenin. What the Russian people lost sight of was this: the issue is NEVER what problems the Czars caused, but what solution was proposed in its stead.
Our founding forefathers obviously had a beef with Great Britain EVEN WHILE HOLDING THE CROWN IN GREAT RESPECT. John Adams was nearly speechless when, as US Ambassador to the Court of St. Jame's, he met King George for the first time. This despite having trashed the King and risking a hanging.
We do not justify everything the insurance companies do or are. We reject what Obama has to offer in lieu of them.

President OH NO Bama has been in office for 200 days, and the second hundred days of his administration have been worse than the first. The $787 billion stimulus experiment he rushed through Congress still isn't creating jobs. The job-killing national energy tax he rushed through the House is threatening families and small businesses with higher energy bills. And now he wants to rush through Congress a $9 trillion government-run healthcare experiment that will make health care more expensive, add to the deficit and cause millions of Americans to lose their current health insurance and doctors. MuBama has done all of this in just 200 days- and there are still 1260 days left in his term. America can't take any more of OBamaCACA's recklessness, fiscal irresponsibility, and incompetence!
