The American Heart Association is taking aim at the nation's sweet tooth, urging consumers to significantly cut back on the amount of sugar they get from such foods as soft drinks, cookies and ice cream.

    I use honey or real maple syrup as a alternative, but it's really hard to avoid sugar, it's in just about everything. I could give you a hundred reasons not to use it. It will cause havoc all over your body.
