On his FNC program today Glenn Beck claimed that Barack Obama is going to bomb the Canadian oil pipelines to nationalize the oil and gas industries. Beck said, “Oh they’ll say they didn’t want to seize control of the oil companies….but we had to.” Oh no, not Canada!!! Why Obama, why?

Right on NS. Beck said a guy who's blowing up gas pipelines in Canada sounds a lot like Obama and Hillary and the rest of the left wingers in this country when he talks about oil companies.

Beck did not say that. He was referring to the psycho environmentalists who believe they have the right to do so. The article is the usual trumped up and greatly exaggerated lie the nazi liberals are notorious for. But as far as I can tell, Beck said that Obama would take advantage of a pipeline bombing in order to seize control of the pipelines/oil company.
Okay, so that seems pretty ridiculous in and of itself, but it's a far cry from saying Obama will bomb Canada. Really, Beck is just saying that Obama won't let a good crisis go to waste.
As for the 'nazi liberals', I think it's a ridiculous epithet and no more useful when applied to the left than when flung at the right. But a good b-slapping for the writer of this piece doesn't seem unwarranted. At least based on the contents of the story. If Beck actually did say something about Obama bombing Canada, then it would have made sense to include such a quote in the article... as written, it seems unlikely.
