Two of the three largest U.S. tobacco companies filed suit Monday to block marketing restrictions in a law that gives the U.S. Food and Drug Administration authority over tobacco, claiming the provisions violate their right to free speech.

    The complaint also says the law prohibits tobacco companies from "making truthful statements about their products in scientific, public policy and political debates."

    Funny, I don't recall the cigarette manufacturers telling people "This sh!t will kill you if you use it. It will f--k up your health in so many many ways you will want to die to end your suffering."

    I can see why they're unhappy with the new law.
