Due to the whining about the supposed lean to the Right of Rasmussen, in my story from earlier today (link below), from the left; I am providing the story above for them to cross reference. This poll from Zogby, with their well known lean to the Left has obama's approval four points lower yet than Rasmussen.

I'm not sure what to think of Obama. I don't think I would give him a high approval rating.
But thank god Bush is gone and we don't have a president who agrees with Bush. If Obama runs again in 2012 I'll probably vote for him again unless the Republicans can produce a credible candidate. That is one that opposed Bush's war from the beginning.

The libs will deny this as well. Anything that shows Obama and the radical libs as losing in the polls is not to be believed since they obviously know better than anybody else. Just ask them.

Not a denial, just information (from pollingreport.com):

Gallup Poll. Rolling average. N=approx. 1,600 adults nationwide.

Let's see - the conservative "shill" Rasmussen has Obama at 47% while the liberal "shill" Zogby has Obama at 42% in their latest polls. Interesting.

Looks like the public is figuring out that Obama's "change" is just the same warmed over New Deal liberalism - and they don't want any part of it. Keep the "change."

          This ship be sinking fast.

"....the only way a government can be of service to national prosperity is by keeping its hands off." Ayn Rand

If Washington embraced this idea, we wouldn't need polling on Congress. But alas, with Obama in the WH, our prosperity is sinking fast.

Amazes me that our elected officials have carefully taught a large segment of the American public that the only way to live is via governmental largesse. If I weren't such a decent person, I'd call for their tar and feathering. Their largesse is coming from my pocketbook!

              You all continue to amuse.

When Bush's poll ratings were TANKING, you dismissed the data and said that "polls don't really matter".

Now that the polls are showing a bit less "favor" for Obama, you now think that those polls are "meaningful".

Just more of the usual hypocrisy and double-speak from your ilk.

P.S. - I am not totally happy with Obama's performance. For once, I think he should act like Bush, in THIS respect - Obama should tell anyone that disagrees with him to 'deal' with it and then he should GET HIS POLICIES IMPLEMENTED on which he campaigned. He should tell the Democrats to PASS health care reform as HE originally mapped it, INCLUDING the PUBLIC option.

Although I am almost entirely immune to the class and competence envy that plagues the Left, I suffer my own element of envy. I envy, but appreciatively, the talent and power of first rate political cartoonists.

They can even exceed the the quota of a 1000 words of value in an image.

Actually the main reason for Obama's decline in popularity is that he has kowtowed too much to right-wingers instead of doing the job Americans elected him to do.

Obama - The One Term Wonder
                http://www.propeller.com/story/2009/09/01/obama-th...

It is ridiculous to predict the outcome of the 2012 Presidential elections, but people are doing it. Many are saying that Obama has squandered whatever goodwill he has earned with his health care fiasco and will be a one-term president.... I for one am not at all upset that Obama has sold out the Left. Hell, he’s a Democrat. What person in their right mind would think that he wouldn’t be beholden to corporate interests first and foremost? Oh, 99% of Democrats, maybe. That’s why lesser evilism is the prevailing electoral philosophy in America. Yet some say that he was/is different. He’s smart. He’s a decent family man. He showed us hope. Well, he showed us hope like Reagan showed us that it was ‘morning in America’. In reality it was “Mourning” in America.

...Let’s pretend that the magic crystal ball does predict a one term president. What could he do (without being impeached) that would really make a difference?

He could scrap his health care plan completely, start all over, and go with Single Payer, which is supported by nearly 2/3 of all Americans.... Have a full fledged campaign, like it was an election, equating the pharmaceutical company and the health insurance industry to the likes of Al Qaeda. Who would dare to take Big Pharma’s and the insurance companies’ side? Learn from the right on how to mobilize your base....

...On other issues, give up on the weasel-like pronouncements that the US opposes the expansion of the settlements in occupied Palestine. Come out and say that all the settlements are illegal and ought to be dismantled, according to international law. If AIPAC hasn’t hired the Aryan Nation by this time to take him out then continue to campaign for the full restitution of rights and the Right of Return for all Palestinians forced into exile by the formation of the State of Israel.

End the occupation of Iraq and Afghanistan immediately. The war in Iraq has already ended in 2003 when they captured (and later on hanged Hussein), and when Obama was still a State Senator of Illinois. Bring the invading armies home.
