Posted By TechnologyExpert 4 months ago in Political NewsFirst a health care reform supporter was slugged at a town hall, and now the supporters have gone opponents one better. Not that it's a good thing, mind you. The finger of a health care opponent was bitten off at a demonstration, not town hall, in Thousand Oaks, CA.

He was assulted by a repug thug who repeatedly hit him in the face for supporting a public option to compete with the con ideal of insurance monopoly denying claims and bankrupting the middle class to pay CEOs hundreds of millions a year.

He bit the finger of the violent republican terrorist insurance monopoly supporter who was assalting him. Of course, a con would distort the story, swiftboating and lying as ususal.

Just goes to show you the nutjobs that oppose the plan. They show up to stir the sh|t and start fights. The funniest part of the story is probably this: The guy goes to the hospital--they explain the proceedure to reattach his fingertip (in other words they quote him the price). He finds out his private for profit health care doesn't cover him inciting a riot so he ops to abandon his fingertip. Now, had we had nationalized healthcare his finger would have been reattached with no out of pocket to him--That's irony folks!!!

look again and try to take in what you read. It wasn't the protester against health care which crossed the street and started a fight. It was the trash in favor of it and to top it off ,then had to pick on a senior citizen ta boot..

Let the record show that the agitators are actually the pro-Obamacare people who beat up sidewalk vendors and now have bitten off the pinky of a senior citizen.

The anti-Obamacare people are the ones who have been attacked despite what Obama and the rest of the statists in Congress tried to suggest in weeks past. -

"The rest of the world must think Americans have finally gone off the deep end."
You have expressed exactly what the majority of the rest of the industrialised world thinks.
It is acceptable that people who can afford health insurance and not even think about the cost aren't too happy about change, but, why do these people want to deny the rest of america who cannot afford to pay be denied the benefits of a national health service? What percentage of bankruptcies are due in the main to health insurance? It just doesn't make logical sense. As for allegations that it's a commie plot and the beginning of socialism, well, really they should travel abroad and see how the rest of the world lives. It would be an eyeopener to most. But as the old saying goes "There are non so blind as those who do not wish to see" -
