Two documents that are going to make South Carolina Governor Mark Sanford’s life a whole lot worse: First, 61 of the South Carolina House’s 72 Republicans have called on him to resign in a clear sign that, should he hold on to his seat, he will be impeached. (The House’s 51 Democrats would likely join them in voting for impeachment.) Also, Sanford’s wife, Jenny, has hired a book agent. Jenny’s agent sent out the proposal on September 6, and they will talk to potential bidders this week.
