Sounds like the pig was heaven sent. IF the pig could really bring a sense of normalcy to that kid like that, gad, I say, keep the pig even if they have to step over repugnant pig poo. I've worked with autistic kids...and...man...the parents of autistics deserve to go to the highest heaven.
