Free Blackberry Wine »

Just a quick post. I've just walked along the lane and picked around 2Kg (about 5lb) of Blackberries (Rubus) . They are so ripe, they taste like honey and fruit. This is much better than buying blackberries at your local supermarket. Also they are quire expensive. I think there is around a ton of fruit available, but too risky to get with the brambles, thorns, and stinging nettles, not to mention falling into the river :D Now my mind drifts to what to do with them. I have enough for two bottles of blackberry wine, 6 jars or jam, or a mountain of ice cream with blackberries. Come on readers, any ideas or good recipes? Sorry, I used my mobile to take the photo :D Also, you may have noticed some changes on the site today, and there is a pole on the right, for the future direction of the blog as it's nearly up-to-date.
