"Regular Folks United" looks like a great new website, with a grassroots, middle-America focus... This article is by a young lady from a working-class area, from a similar background as Michael Moore - but with a VERY different outlook on things.

Regular Folks United is yet another neo-Conservative website which uses 'truthiness' in everything including its title. These are not 'Regular Folks United' any more than the Oil and Gas companies are "Nature's Best Preserves."

It's a pack of lies sold by lying. The very article you post, claiming it's a young lady from a working-class area, implying she's a "regular folk" is written by a 46 year old Washington Lobbyist for Christ's sake. Absolutely, utterly pathetic and ethically and morally bankrupt. -

But you're absolutely *not* regular folks. You're far right extremist 20 percenters who think that when you lose an election you should still control the country's agenda. That's *irregular.* You also think that if you keep insisting that *you* are the world and everyone else just lives in it. That's not normal either. You're cons and you must remember that there is a reason we have elections. You didn't seem to have any problem understanding this when Bush *barely* squeaked into office but somehow with Obama blasting into office with an 11 million vote advantage, you still seem to think your agenda should be front and center 100% of the time. That, too is not rational, normal or regular behavior. I appreciate that you *want* to have things your way all the time (who wouldn't want that?) but you must learn that when you behave like bitter, unhinged, racist, and shrill losers, no one thinks you're regular. We think you're cranky and constipated. ;-(

You gotta love America.

If Moore was in a truly Marxist state and went around spouting off anti Marxist opinions he would last about 1 week before he disappeared. However, in America, because of his first Amendment Right to free speech, he can be an anti-American pro Marxist in public opinion and artistic output and make a healthy profit by investing in the very system he 'pushes' as decadent and evil.
Yet as pointed out by this post, and much to chagrin of some people, Ms Roman has her right to speak her opinion from personal experiences about the man who loves to hate America all the way to the bank and back. -

ALEC
October 29, 2007 Governing
In recent years, the American Legislative Exchange Council has been one of the most formidable actors on the state policy stage, crafting and helping to enact new laws by the hundreds. But massive staff turnover and managerial complaints have led to questions about whether the effectiveness of ALEC, as the group is commonly known, may diminish. Twenty-two members of the staff, plus one part-timer and two consultants, have left since the beginning of last year, when ALEC hired Lori Roman as its new executive director. That's a considerable percentage of ALEC's total staff, which at press time numbered 29, with three vacancies. Some of the ALEC activists out in the country are beginning to raise questions about all this. "What the hell's going on?" asks Mississippi state Rep. Bill Denny, an ALEC state chair. "We just lost all of those people, and they couldn't all have been bad." Numerous former staff members describe a work environment that grew hostile and "toxic" over the past 18 months. ALEC recently settled a lawsuit brought by one former staffer and faces two pending complaints lodged with the federal Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. Roman says the departures were neither surprising nor alarming, noting that a change in management, particularly when the new leader comes in with a different style, is often unsettling -
