The Democrats won congress in 2006 based on the deficit spending of Bush and promised to bring it down. Didn't happen. Then the rant about Bush helped the Democrats the White House and more in Congress. So what have the Democrats done about the horrendous Bush deficit? Made it look like Bush was a miser. Then the liberals just trash people who are upset with the drunken sailor spending style of the Democrats.
Bush deficit is ranted about as horrible. The Obama deficit is ignored. Obama has a bigger deficit in 8 months than Bush had for 8 years.

Huge rally? That's a questionable claim for sure. These are Glenn Beck followers and other willful ignorants. A reminder they lost an election last fall. I watched a good 30 minutes of Beck's coverage on Fox. Absolutely no diversity in the crowd other than the poor kids dragged there by their misguided parents. Such thought-filled signs as "Obama S-cks" and pictures of Obama with a Hitler moustache drawn on him.

If this is in any way a mainstream movement maybe Beck should try to run for national office? Afterall he said he saw a "shift in the paradign" based on this event. Let him run and found out how his bizarre rants play to the electorate. Would anyone really want someone of such limited sanity involved in actual politics?-

I fear that insanity is running high in this country and the TEA party only confirms my suspicions. The Republican plan to dumb down America by gathering village idiots that listen to Limbaugh, Beck, and FOX and parading them before cameras. Inciting these low IQ's fears by telling them that the blacks and illegals are taking over the country so they have to fight to get it back because the Republicans only have one thing in mind, gaining back control of the country so they can continue tearing it down with their policies that only benefits the "filthy rich".

The DC Fire Department estimated the crowd size to be in the neighborhood of 70,000. Thus far, no aerial photos have been presented that would contradict this figure (well, except of the photo being circulated of a 1994 Promise Keepers rally that was estimated at about 700,000). Glen Beck flatly stated that the crowd numbered 1.7 MILLION, without giving any kind of source other than some university whose name he could not remember.

I don't even know why the number matters when these people are habitual liars who routinely peddle the desperate myth that most Americans think the way they do. Wrong (and that means even when you people scare others to death and stop them from hearing both sides of an issue). It doesn't really matter how many of them were here because they will always insist that they are or should be the center of the universe--even if they're a party of one. I find it absolutely amazing how some of these republicans, both politicians and citizens, are going to the streets (encouraged by Fox) over the President of the United States trying to help families get affordable healthcare. Our last president and vp, Bush and Cheney, LIED TO THE WORLD to engage this country in an UNNESSARY WAR, killing close to 5,000 of our bravest, and there was nothing like this. And you can bet the farm that the ones who did protest were not any of these pompous, egotistical a—holes! You should be ashamed and I hope come judgment day you can explain yourself! The Gray Lady of Operation Mockingbird, the New York Times, reports today that “thousands” of patriots protested against Obamacare, cap and trade, the bankster bailout, and unchecked federal government power in the District of Criminals yesterday.
“The demonstrators numbered well into the tens of thousands, though the police declined to estimate the size of the crowd,” the newspaper reports, attempting to downplay the historical significance of the protest.
ABC News did likewise, pegging the turnout in the thousands. “Thousands of conservative protesters from across the country converged on the Capitol Saturday morning to demonstrate against President Obama’s proposals for health care reform and voicing opposition to big government, what they say is over-the-top spending,” the corporate propaganda outlet claimed on Saturday.
Fox News tried to spin the event as a Glenn Beck phenomenon.
NPR, the news service of Soros and the foundations, did the same parlor trick with the math, putting the number at tens of thousands.
NPR contradicted itself, however, and reported that as “the demonstrators walked along Pennsylvania Avenue toward the U.S. Capitol, the line stretched as far as the eye could see in either direction.
The crowd was so thick in places that it was difficult to move.”
As to be expected, the “progressives” (left cover bankster faction) attempted to portray two million patriotic Americans as racists.
Think Soros, formerly known as Think Progress, posted a blog entry supposedly revealing racist placards at the event — in fact, none of the signs showed were racist — the worst the Soros operatives produced was a photo of a woman with a Confederate flag.
The Soros clan said everybody at the event was white (as if they had examined the skin color of two million people).
It’s not going to work.
The two million people who showed up to voice their outrage at a federal government out of control and in violation of the Constitution was but a small sampling of the millions of people across the country in opposition to Obama and the corporate-fascist agenda of his one-world masters........

Why has the uninsured suddendly dropped from 46 millon to 30 million. Could it be the estimated 16 million illeagals here. Lets use a little common sense for a minute if possible. The reason for the tea parties is that many people are fed up with our government for not listening to us. Most of us are Republicans and Independents and even some moderate Democrats. Don't think it is all about Obama, we are people that were dissappointed with Bush and congress and their lack of fiscal responsibility, spending our tax dollars and not watching out for or best interests with the banking industry etc. They started the bailouts and the rest is history. McCain then came along in the presidency run and we knew he would be no better so we had no one to truly vote for. Even with no real Republican contender the presidental election is relatively close.

I am sure you could have seen similar signs in our history saying Bush was the antichrist, but to take one or a few signs that are obviously ignorant and use that as a platform for your belief is truly the best example of intellectual dishonesty.
