"It truly remarkable and not unexpected that the smear tactics right out of the standard playbook are being used against Americans that disagree with the way government is "spending" their money."

    Oh, I dunno...maybe by looking at the racism and ugliness of so many signs at the protests and so much of the hatred the teabaggers display?
    
    About your assertion that there is "no 'leader' of the tea party movement," do you honestly think this would have sprung up out of nowhere if Glenn Beck, Fox News, FreedomWorks and others weren't constantly promoting it?
