Once again, AOL is about ten years behind the curve on a subject. Simply looking at the rise in allergic reactions to food and the number of commercials for asthma meds on TV would be enough to lead someone to the conclusion that allergies are on the rise. Even with the increase in reporting and improved methods of detection, it's obvious that more and more people are becoming allergic to more and more things.
